For several years now I have been thinking of moving from
film based photography over to a pure digital one. I asked, how do I move
my slide collection to a digital format? Are digital cameras suitable to
take 'real' photo's? Lastly could I do away with my darkroom and print my
own digital images? Cost, quality and convenience would have to be looked
into as well. As my collection of aging Canon T90s and EOS cameras needed replacement
soon, I knew now was a good time to check out digital photo technology.
I approached Canon UK, and asked for a slide scanner,
digital camera and their best photo printer. They were very helpful and
sent us the items requested for review. Please note: These reviews are not
