Random read test, as these amazing graphs as it show the Hyper Drive II (yellow line) with a ATA33 interface can hold its own with an ATA133 hard drive (green line). This is due to the 0.2ms access time of the Hyper Drive II which is some 72 times faster than the 14.4ms of the comparison drive.
