The game models the military career of a Russian
volunteer tanker during the 1991-1995 civil war in Yugoslavia. On
the Serbian side there were not only separate volunteer participants
of the war, but whole subdivisions made up of the ex-USSR citizens,
such as the Russian Volunteer Detachment (RDO-1, RDO-2, RDO-3), the
1st, the 2nd and the 3rd Cossack sotnias. Reasoning from the
specificities of the conflict we did not model large-scale tank
battles. The game missions are based on the real application of
tanks to local conflicts. |
